Restorative Dentistry in Katy, TX

Rebuilding teeth that are cracked, decayed, worn or missing — so you can eat, speak and smile without thinking about it.

What Is Restorative Dentistry?

Restorative dentistry covers everything we do to repair or replace damaged and missing teeth. The goal is always the same: get you back to full function and a natural appearance, using materials built to last.

Because our doctors have advanced training in implants, oral surgery and endodontics, most restorative work happens right here rather than through a referral.

When Restorative Treatment Makes Sense

  • A tooth is cracked, chipped or heavily decayed
  • You've lost one or more teeth
  • An old filling or crown has failed
  • Ongoing pain or sensitivity when chewing
  • Dentures that no longer fit comfortably

What to Expect

Planned Carefully, Done Once

Restorative work fails when it is rushed. We scan, measure and plan the restoration before touching the tooth, so the fit is right the first time.

Materials are matched to your existing teeth in shade and translucency, which is why most people never notice which tooth was repaired.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does restorative work last?
It depends on the treatment and your home care. Implants can last decades, crowns commonly 10–15 years or more, and fillings somewhat less.
Will treatment be painful?
We use local anesthetic for restorative procedures, and nitrous oxide is available on request. Most patients report far less discomfort than they expected.
